Prevosti F. J., Martin F. M., et al (2013) | Fossil was found in the Square D, stratigraphic level Vb. This stratigraphic level is dated at 10,420 ± 100 14C years BP, and is covered by level Va which has several dates and the older are between 10,130 ± 210 and 11,880 ± 250 14C years BP (Borrero, 2003; Massone and Prieto, 2004; Massone, 2004, 2010). The lowest layer (VI) has a date of 12,540 ± 70 14C years (which indicate a latest Pleistocene–earliest Holocene age for level Vb ).
