Comments:The original wet chemical analysis of the cotype specimen reported by Williams (1986) corresponds to Mendozavilite-CaFe, however reanalysis of the cotype materiale with PXRD and EMPA by Kampf et al (2012) showed it to be Mendozavilite-NaFe (accoring to the new Betpakdalite Supergroup nomenclature.
