| Comments: | Occurs as higher-z patches and "wisps" in abundant Na-dominant mangano-mangani-ungarettiite.
Although not included in the EPMA analysis included here, a small amount of Li may be present (~0.1 to ~0.2 wt% Li2O). This addition would optimize the site occupancies, is consistent with Li incorporation into alkali-rich amphiboles, and can be presumed present in the local assemblage as indicated by the identification of nambulite at the locality. |
