A Au-Cu-Ag mine located 60 km SE of Cloncurry, owned by Amalg Resources NL. The deposit contained an estimated 3.1 Mt of ore grading 5.5% Cu, 1.4 g/t Au and 16 g/t Ag (Baker, 1998).
Eloise is an iron sulfide copper gold (ISCG) deposit notable for the abundance of pyrrhotite in the ore lodes. Mineralization is hosted within Proterozoic-aged metasedimentary units of the Soldiers Cap group (Baker, 1998). The deposit is most likely related to nearby iron oxide copper gold deposits within the Cloncurry Mining District including Ernest Henry, Osborne, and Starra.
