Supergene porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit, hosted in a quartz monzonite porphyry which intruded hornfelsed clastic rocks. The porphyry is highly faulted and is intruded by dacite and andesite porphyry dykes and rare lamprophyres. It shows relict potassic alteration, which is overprinted by weak to strong phyllic-argillic alteration, particularly close to major faults, and grades downwards to a propylitic alteration assemblage. In contrast, the dacite exhibits strong sericitic to chloritic alteration, whereas the andesite is mainly propylitic.
