Ancient Cu-Ag mine to the north-east of Saint-Luc.
At La Barma bismuth minerals (aikinite and wittichenite) are very abundant. In particular, aikinite occurs as micro inclusions in “fahlore” and directly associated to Ag-bearing bornite and chalcopyrite. The presence of aikinite and wittichenite in “fahlore”, undetectable with the analytical methods of the 19th century, could explain because “fahlores” from La Barma and other mines, located between Saint-Luc and Gosan, were erroneosly considered a new mineral species, named “annivite”.
