Small (Bi-)W deposit mined from the 1860s to 1913, with a few dumps remaining. The locality is on private land and cannot be accessed without prior approval.

Wolframite- and Bi-bearing quartz reefs trending N20°E and outcropping on a low ridge of weathered Ordovician metasedimentary rocks.

Located 6 km west of Linton and 35 km west of Ballarat, about 600 m N of the Ballarat-Skipton road.
