Small Fluorite Mine about 5km. southeast of Touroug (Ksar de Touroug; Ba Touroug).
Google Earth: 31° 33' 41 N / 04 43' 03 W
Bicolored large Fluorite cubes with well defined internal zones of yellow green and olive green color on Quartzite matrix. The crystals are mostly penetration twins with growth patterns on the cube faces, have phantoms and sometimes hematite inclusions .

I have been checking the position of the Lhamda mine (that I visited in 2009) and the description given by Mr. Dedeyne in : Geonieuws 33(3), maart 2008 (Raymond Dedeyne / Marokko 2007 / Deel 2) and it is clear that there is a lot of missunderstanding about this mine.
The real location should be:
Lhamda Fluorite Mine, Touroug, Er Rachidia Province, Meknès-Tafilalet Region, Morocco.
some other fluorites of this mine are willfully mislabeled on mindat as:
-Hameda quarry, Jorf El Melha, Sidi Kacem Province, Gharb-Chrarda-Béni Hssen Region, Morocco
(Hameda is realy Lhamda) and Is not "Jorf El Melha" but just "Jorf", because the mine is between the localities of Touroug and Jorf (Er Rachidia Province).
Could you please let me know if I have to add more information?
Best regards,
Iván Blanco

Indeed you're right, the mine is located in the Rachidia Province, I shall change it.
Perhaps I'll see you Sunday at the Nautilus Show / Ghent.
Cheers,
Karel

According to the geological service of Morocco the name of the mine is: Touroug-El Hamda. It is located in the Jbel Lhamda, at the NE of the Jbel Ougnat massive. This is indeed an area with multiple quarries and trenches, and not just a big cut. They are now inactive. I think that the term "Fluorite" should be removed from the name because these are fluorite and baryte quarries.

Why not just merge the localities together, then clean up the product of the merge?
