De selectiecriteria die nodig zijn voor het beoordelen van wat we noemen "esthetische mineralen" zijn bij veel verzamelaars blijkbaar niet altijd even bekend of worden door hen gewoon verwaarloosd.

Voor hen die het zou interesseren, via onderstaande link kan je de criteria nalezen die ikzelf hanteer bij de aankoop van specimens voor mijn eigen verzameling.

Ik heb een aantal foto's geactualiseerd en toegevoegd in mijn fotogalerij, en op verzoek heb ik de meeste foto's (ook de foto's die gebruikt zijn in het artikel) van nog wat meer beschrijvende tekst voorzien.
